The speaker system uses a light socket to power a wireless speaker. With help from TI's Purepath™ wireless audio devices, the system turns an ordinary lamp into a wireless, multi-zone speaker system. It allows users to enjoy professional-quality sound without the wiring.

"Just screw the speakers into any existing light socket, and the speakers disappear into the lamp shade. Lighting, volume and power functions are all controlled via remote," according to the Sound of Light website. Read more
