100,000 3D Models

Last week, our 3D CAD library delivered its 100,000th model, giving us a perfect reason to celebrate.  And how did we choose to mark this momentous milestone?  Through the medium of "cake", of course...

3D Modelling has become a vitally important tool for the modern designer.  When we launched the 3D CAD library last year, providing engineers with a huge selection of 3D models in a wide selection of CAD formats, we had hoped that engineers would make DesignSpark and RS part of their design process.

And the engineers have responded.  The adoption of our 3D models has been remarkable, partially because (as far as we know) we are the only distributor to offer so many models from so many different manufacturers.  And the library is growing every month as more models are added.
