John Boxall (or tronixstuff as he is known on the community) is an Arduino specialist and blogger from Toowong, Australia with a passion for education and all things technical.  John's blog is a fantastic resource for those wishing to learn about electronics, particularly for those wishing to go down the Arduino road.  Well worth a read!

We interviewed John to find out what makes him tick.

DS: What does John Boxall do?

JB: I am just a sole operator, working on educational posts on my blog; whilst developing a range of simple to mid-range electronics kits for learners of all ages.

DS: As a sole trader, that must mean you do everything...

JB: Yes, everything! Strategy, design, marketing, publishing, purchasing, making tea, market research and so on. Not necessarily in that order though...

DS: What do you hope to get from DesignSpark and why is it relevant to you?

JB: Hopefully get a feel for what people are interested in from an enjoyment perspective versus their work requirements. Designspark is relevant to all of us, as it is a good networking tool for likeminded people.

DS: What do you feel you bring to DesignSpark?

JB: Hopefully the ability to answer people's questions about Arduino and related systems. 

DS: When you're not at work, does engineering/design play any part in your downtime?

JB: Usually, I am always thinking about designing something. 

DS: Can you give me one interesting fact about yourself that you think might surprise us?

JB: Nothing I would want to be made public! :)

DS: What is the square root of minus 1?

JB: i(sqr(1))

DS: Is there anything I have forgotten to ask you or anything else you would like to add to this interview?
