How to create a complexed IC

Hi Guys,

I have been attempting to create a new component without any success.

The component is a Texas Instrument Unitrode product, Battery Charger Controller "UC3906N, (DIL-16)"

Does any one have this IC already.?? or can give me a walk-thru in creating it.

THanks for your email.  The easiest way to do this is with the Library Creation Wizard. If you look to the "Help" menu in Design Spark and then "Tutorials" you will see the "Library creation" PDF. This is a real "walk thorugh" document that will show you step by step how to create a new component.  I see that the UC3906 comes in a DIL16, or PLCC/LCC. these are standard library items that could be quickly associated with your own "schematic symbol"   I hope you find this of help.

Thanx ian,

I tried the help files but i couldn't get the "gates" sorted out.. kept giving me an error..

I'll go back again and work thru it..

I am working with the DIL16 IC..
