Motor Control is one of the Microchip's focus applications and also their strengths in the electronic market. This motor control starter kit allows the user evaluates Microchip's ultra-low cost Motor Control Family dsPIC DSCs.

Details
Bascially, the evaluation board contains a brushless DC Motor, capacitive-touch sliders and a built-in debugger. Its features include:
- dsPIC33FJ16/PIC24FJ16 Motor Control Families
- On Board 3-phase BLDC Motor
- Capacitive Touch Slider for Speed Control with LED indicators
- Microchip TC448 Dual FET Drivers
- On-board In-Circuit Programming / Debug via USB
For the digital signal controller of the starter kit, it uses low cost dsPIC33FJ16/PIC24FJ16 Motor Control Families. The specifications are provided below:
