The clever folks at NortHACKton have built an Arduino driven rocket launcher.

OK so it might not be a space program but it's a good example of practical electronics being used for something fun.

The uln2003a device has output clamp diodes for switching inductive loads, so no other diode should be necessary.

Nice work!

But I got a question: After checking their circuit, Why don't they use a protection didoe across the realy? How about bypass caps? What do you think guys?
