PCB Design Tools - New Product Introduction Award

DesignSpark PCB was recently recognised as New Product of the Year in the PCB Design Tools category, by Printed Circuit Design and Fab Magazine.

The annual NPI awards recognise leading new products during the past 12 months and are judged by a panel of independent, practicing industry engineers. Evaluations were based on the following set of criteria:

Creativity and innovation
Compatibility with existing technology
Cost-effectiveness
Design
Environmental friendliness
Expected reliability
Flexibility
Expected maintainability/reparability
Performance
User-friendliness

I was very proud to pick up this award on behalf of my colleagues and the DesignSpark Community and extend my thanks to all of you who have supported DesignSpark PCB since its launch!!!

This program is awesome by any standard! I was skeptical at first because of the time investment learning and building schematic and PCB parts. I soon realized that there was only one way to know if the program would deliver as promised. Do it! I'm happy to report I have laid-out two PCB's (really one - twice with updates/corrections) without a hitch!!! Didn't hear any complaints from the board house at all. My boards just showed up perfect. Great program and lots of cool PCB editing features but you have to explore a little to learn them all. This program is more than a bargain for free. Thanks Designspark!
