Hitex is a small electronics engineering company with head quarters in Germany. It is fully owned by Infineon and has satellite offices in both the USA and the UK. The main areas of activity for Hitex are as follows:

Development Tools

Hitex has its own portfolio of design tools which are used by firmware engineers to help develop software for complex embedded system. The tools range from complete bond out emulation systems to smaller USB dongle style evaluation sticks. Hitex provides both the hardware and the software for these. Hitex also has its own Integrated Development Environment (IDE) called HiTOP which is used to support MCU ranging from 8 bit 8051 architectures through to 32bit ARM devices.

In addition to designing and developing custom development tools for the Hitex brand, Hitex will also design and develop tools for third parties. Customer such as STM and Renesas have used the consulting services of Hitex to design, develop and supply turnkey products to them.

Compilers

Hitex (UK) Ltd is leading supplier of the Keil Compilers for ARM, 16x and 805x architectures.

Consulting Services

Approximately 40% of the activity at Hitex is consulting. Hitex are able to offer services in the following areas.
