I am not able to force Design Spark to connect all off pages symbols (created by myself). Afer export into PCB I have still disconnected. I don’t know what’s wrong. Net designation is entered correctly.
I cannot to solve this topic by myself. I need to get detailed description how to create working off page symbols. I am not able to force connection in PCB:
I shall try to check on this over the weekend, but from memory you just follow the steps in the DS PCB help tutorial.
<Help> <Tutorials> <Design Tutorials> and go to page 27 "Adding Net References" (and read onwards), this covers linking across a sheet , but is also what you have to do across multiple schematics.
Thanks for the question. It would be good if you have attached the actual design files, we could have a look which would help to identify the root cause. I suspect that your nets are not actually connected to GND. Please check the names of the nets connected to the GND terminals. What you see is perhaps a name of the terminal not the name of the net.
Good tip: in DSPCB when you have a net that is not visibly connected between two components, always display the net name with right click>display net name. At the same time you want to right click and NOT display the GND terminal name. This way even if you accidentally change the GND net name anywhere in the design you will immediately see it on your schematics.
Hope this helps, otherwise please send us your design files to DesignSparkPCB*at*designspark.com
