I'm very glad to share the series of multiple promotions by RS Components in Japan last week.  We delivered the Raspberry Pi to Japan last week, and spent 4 hours with TV Tokyo's program, "World Business Satellite" which was aired at night and is a popular program.  We shared with the hostess the capability of Rasp Pi, the vision to promote more youngsters to learn embedded development and create innovative electronic designs.  Japanese audience look for interesting application, so our e-commerce team immediately taught the hostess a simple modification of HTML code and created a webpage for the hostess, and then with a simple addition of a line of source code, we appended the page with a background picture of Japanese Cherry Blossom.

On the same day, two online magazines visited RS and have written their respective reports on their websites.  MyNavi and Nikkei Business Publication's online magazine, TechOn, took advantage of the presence of the board and published stories already online.  

What's more exciting to hobbyists, engineers, and university students last Saturday was at Akihabara, the "Electric Town" in the heart of Tokyo, where RS Components showcased Raspberry Pi with live demonstration during the entire day of Eleki Jack exhibition hosted by CQ Magazine in Japan.
