A simple EDP demonstration board has been built to show how EDP works.

Details

An ultrasonic rangefinder provides object distance information (up to 1m) which the mbed uses to control the motor speed (closer the object, slower the motor). The mbed user LEDs form a simple distance bargraph while precise distance and light level info is sent to a PC terminal emulator.

The demonstration hardware consists of the following:

EDP Baseboard with mbed carrier and MC1 motor control modules

mbed LPC1768 module

SRF08 Ultrasonic Rangefinder module using I2C serial communication

15V DC motor
