Sweet. Nice work. TY
Martin Keenan
...and thank YOU Addidis for your continued support. We'll be adding some more libraries as we progress, the UL Reader will now export any bxl file to a *.dsl DesignSpark Library file for use in DesignSpark PCB

Nice with a complete Microchip library! That is fore sure the way to go! Thumbs up!
on the other hand - thumbs down for not using the package feature to minimize the library size! The library is bloated with multiple copies of the same symbol and the searching algorithm is getting waaaaaay slower when it has to go through 4-6 types of the same symbol!
I'd rather go through the hazzle of making the parts I need - when I need them and have a smaller library that fits my needs.
Conclusion: complete libraries are totally cool, but we're not home yet.

I can't seem to import anything from Ultra Librarian! I've watched the tutorial video, and followed all instructions, but all I get is an error dialog saying "DLL Libkit could not be loaded", followed by a "Failed to import file..." error dialog. This is using exported Microchip PIC 32 components.
I've tried exporting several different components from Ultra Librarian, all with the same result.
Steps:
1/ Open Ultra Librarian, select a bxl file, export. No errors. DSL file created OK. Text file shows location and instructions etc.
2/ Open Designspark library, create new component, select Add File. Select DSL file created above. Error!
Any ideas?
Macbook Pro, Win 7 64 bit running under Parallels. I'll try re-booting in Windows only and see if that helps.
<EDIT> No, booting into Windows native did not help. Help!
Cheers,
Martin

I am having exactly the same issue trying to import a bxl file from Analog Devices.
Ultra librarian creates a .DSL file OK and has given me a lovely set of intructions on how to import this into Design Spark. The only problem is that these fail with the same message "DLL Libkit could not be loaded".
My Design Spark version is the version 2.0 and when I try to Check for Updates it tells me I have the latest version.
Any ideas?
Many thanks,
Stephen.

Hello All
I have attached a .DLL fix file above. Copy this DLL file to your DesignSpark Folder in Program Files. example
C:\Program Files\DesignSpark\DesignSpark PCB
This should resolve the error you are seeing.
Hope this is of help
