Overview
Are you looking for a battery pack for an emergency call application?
The battery pack needs to be able to charged by the vehicle electrical system and to remain ready to be used for the life of that vehicle when required.
As it is an emergency system then it must work when required.

Details
The V500HT NiMH cell from VARTA Microbattery can meet these criteria.
As each cell has 1.2VDC then you will need to put them series them in 3,4,5 or even more cell configurations to achieve your required voltage.
The cell is UL recognised to file MH13654.
The cell operates between -20 and +85 degC.
See the attached application note for more information about the above application (e call).
Note this pack can also be used in tracking applications too.
