UCC28528 Evaluation Module
This evaluation module is a 350W, two-phase interleaved power-factor corrected pre-regulator.
- AC input voltage: 85 to 265Vrms
- DC output voltage: 380V
- Output power: 25 to 350W
- Works up to 200W without external cooling
- Over 200W, it requires a fan pointed directly at the heat sinks
- Ambient temperature around the components must not exceed 40°C

The first time you open the box and see this circuit you don’t quite know where to begin other than plug it in and see the output power and verify that this is as they say, but then you start to dig into the documentation and this is very well documented no cd, but a whole lot of hardcopy. After some reading and probing the circuit you very soon get a good grasp on how to use the UCC28521 and getting a good switch mode power supply. This is a analog circuit and therefore it dosn’t bring that many hours of tingerling, but all said it was an in lightning experience.
